Episode #1 - Origin (Or How I learned to Stop Worrying and Love Videogame Radiation)

Welcome to my own little web-comic! What you see here is a slightly re-edited and cleaned up version of the original Superhero arc that ran in The Adventures of Dane and March, the comic I did for the St. Mary's Journal Student Newspaper waaaaaaay back in 1999. I re-edited the work and fooled around with it in Photoshop when I was working on my own entertainment magazine (which is still being worked on - these things take time, people!) thinking I could have my cake (the magazine) and eat it too (with my own comic hidden within). Even though it was done back in the late 1990's I had very little re-writing to do. Even though Dane and March was a pop-culture based work, I was mindful of not making it 'too dated'. Of course there was that one comic with a pre-mommy Britney Spears...

Anyways, these Capt. So-So and Mr. Maybe comics are my innocent commentary on superheros. They are neither biting nor overly offensive, and I tried my best to make them as ineffectual as possible, despite the notable fact that they actually have useful powers. As you'll see, they do get better with them, but not before going through some growing pains. For now this is a bi-weekly, but later this year I may go weekly. We'll see if I have the time and enough material.
